Everyone is welcome at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, whether you are a regular churchgoer, exploring Christianity for the first time, or simply curious about what happens during a church service. As a Church of England church, our services are led by our clergy team, including Father Oliver Coss, Rector, and Father Nicolas Boisson, Assistant Curate. Our worship is welcoming, friendly and relaxed, with Bible readings, prayers, hymns and Holy Communion. There is no special dress code — come as you feel comfortable, whether that’s jeans and a T-shirt or something more formal. If you’ve never attended church before, please don’t worry. Everything is explained, there is no pressure to participate, and you are welcome simply to sit, listen and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of our beautiful 900-year-old church.

Our main Sunday service takes place at 4pm in the historic Round Church, usually lasting around an hour, followed by an opportunity to meet others over tea, coffee and biscuits. We also hold a shorter Holy Communion service every Tuesday at 10.30am, lasting approximately 30 minutes, at the Main Alter. Entry is by the Small door on the South Aisle of the Church.

Whether you are seeking a place for quiet reflection, friendship, prayer or a deeper connection with faith, we would be delighted to welcome you. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early, particularly if this is your first visit, and remember to wrap up warmly during the colder months!
